I am about to take a motorcycle trip and was wondering the best way to charge my phone while on the road. I have a couple of options at hand with a 12v cigarette lighter type socket that I could use the standard charger plug in or a USB 12v charger that I could use with my USB plug. Hopefully this makes sense. Thoughts would be appreciated on which one would charge the quickest.

Huh?

Try that again in plain text please.

Sorry, I failed to notice that it was not in plain text. Which would be a
faster charge; 12v powered USB or regular cigarette lighter type of 12v
plug? Planning a motorcycle trip and did not want to pack the wrong cord.

I doubt it would make any difference in charge time.

Since you're planning a motorcycle trip and you'll probably be packing
light, which requires the least space?
