There isn't one per se, however, you can assign a distinctive ring for
each of the callers you do want to hear from and just let the others go
to VM.

Hey, that's VERY cool! I never knew about that. BTW, the default unlock
code is 1234.

That depends, on my phones (maybe typical of Verizon Wireless?) the
unlock code is always the last 4 digits of my phone number, on some
I've heard about it's 0000.

If verizon sets it to the last 4 digits of the phone number then that's
NOT the default code. The default code is the one set at the factory and
published in the manual.

Which is the last 4 digits of the phone number as per the manual
included with my phone.

You're very welcome, it took me weeks to dig it out, glad I could
share!

I only have the "Allow All" option. Do I need to flash my V3 to get the
"Allow Contacts" option?
BruceR - 10 May 2008 11:31 GMT
Did you highlight ALL and then press the right or left joystick button
to change it?

Not until you told me (actually I pressed the "Change" button). Thanks.

No, that's what you should see. Select "Change" and you'll be given a
list of "All", "None" or "Contacts".

That worked. Thanks for the correction.

I'm glad it worked, you can test by calling your cell from a phone
that's not in your contacts, you should hear a ring back maybe 4 times
and then it should go to voice mail. Then call again from a phone that
IS in your contacts, it should ring and you can talk to yourself but
people will wonder about you. <G>
It pays to poke around, one thing I've found about almost every phone
on almost every carrier, the manual provided is almost worthless.

very very cool, I have been looking for this. The other day I accidentally
answered a junk call from Mexico because I was using my bluetooth headset.
Now I can block this junk.
