I need a suggestion for a bluetooth headset.  I suffer for about a 45%
hearing loss in both ears and do not wear hearing aids. I tried a Motorola
H700 which was great when there is no background noise but with background
noise it is useless. If anyone has any suggestions for a bluetooth that
possibly has increased volume please let me know.  My state has a new
bluetooth law as of July 1st.

The Motorola S9 stereo headset can be set to "painfully loud" on both
handsfree and A2DP stereo modes.  The very comfortable rubber cups help
reduce, but not block, outside noises.

Unfortunately, the mic isn't in front of your mouth so there's some
background noises in your transmitted audio you can't get rid of.  But the
headset is the finest little headset I've ever owned.  Simply a great
product.  They're available on the net for around $75-80 down from $129
retail Best Buy wants.

I ended up getting a Plantronics Voyager 510 and it works great with my
hearing loss.  It is loud and clear.  My wife is getting one this week as
well.  I let the earpiece rest just outside my ear for the best comfort for
me. Amazon has a great price at about $42.00.  Plantronics has been making
headsets I have used at work for 29 years so I decided to give therm a shot.
