TIA

I am using an old Motorola v325 and I was given a new one.  I want to
transfer ringtones, pics, contacts......   How do I clone the old to the
new?  Is there a sofware program that will do this?

Again Thanks,

Dave H.

If your service provider didn't cripple your phone, you should be able
to use Motorola Phone Tools to "synchronize" the contacts, etc.  You
would copy from the original phone to your computer, and from your
computer to the new phone.  I believe you need either Microsoft Outlook
or Outlook Express on your PC as well as Motorola Phone Tools.

Verizon Wireless likes to cripple the phones they sell so that they can
charge you extra to do it "over the air".  If your phone has had the
necessary features turned off, you can hack your phone to turn them on
again.  It voids the warranty but I think it may beat paying VZW!

All you need is a copy of Mobile Phone Tools. You can buy it on ebay
for less than $10 with the cable.

The carrier's main office has a console to do that....Every time I buy a
new phone from Alltel, they make me a CDR backup of everything, then mass
move everything that can be moved from old to new...especially that contact
list.  Alltel does it free....
