Automatic PIN dialing on an i730.

The office gave me an i730 for work use.

On my last phone, when checking my voicemail, I was able to figure
out how to "program" calls to access that voicemail box in such a way
that the pin number was automatically included right after the telephone
number to the voice mail box.

Then, all I had to do was hit the numerical button for collecting my
voicemail and I could do so without having to wait for the request to
enter my PIN number.

I did this by following my ten-digit voice mailbox number with
something like two pauses (**) a number symbol (#) the four-digit pin
then another pause(*).  The phone dialed the number, input my pin and I
was listing to my voicemail.  Quick, easy, and safe (no need to take
your eyes of the road to poke in four numbers).

Nowhere in this i730 manual - that I can find - are there
instructions on how to do this.  I have experimented with a series of
different pauses and #'s and the PIN, but can't hit on the correct
combination.

Anyone know how to do this on an i730???

  Many thanks.

P.s.  The support for the Nokia phone was simply superb; you could get a
human on the line in short order and he/she would provide you with the
answer, or at least that was my experience. With Nextel and the i730,
the search for support is a _major_ frustration.

try this:
1(voicemail access number)P(four-digit password)
then, store it.  this way you don't have to enter your pin number every time
you access your voicemail messages.
