iden update problem with serial cable

i tried using my serial cable w/ iden update on a i95...but using the
auto detect feature it was unable to find the phone. Has anyone else
experienced this??

The data cable i got off ebay did say it was for the V60/V66 but i
know that the chargers are interchangeable so i was hoping it was the
same for the data cable. Am i right to assume this or do i need to
swap this out??

Any help is appreciated!!

Mine won't connect either. I know the cable is connected because
the display on the phone changes and when I click reset on the puter
the phone resets, but I can not get the puter to read the phone.
