You will not be able to take advantage of the MMS features with the
i860. So as long as you are not trying to text or send pics or surf
the web you'll be fine. If you want to do those things then you will
need to update your SIM.

you will be able to surf the web, but not use SMS. you will also no
be able to asign ringtones to individual contacts and your overal
contact capacity is less. not a big deal

The Sims are supposed to be interchangeable with all THREE digit
Motorola phones. The info on your i90 sim can be transferred to the
i860 very quickly at a Nextel store or dealer. They did it for me
from my i88s to the i860. There's an accessory for $10 that does it
quickly that they use. It works on all 2 and 3 digit Motorola
phones.
