Will signal ins ask for my IMIE#

Bought this phone off ebay and think its either lost or stolen. Stupid
me. I want to put ins on it. Will they ask for that # when trying toi
insure it. Also im signed up on nextels service plan so if i take it in
for sevice will they see that # and blackflag my account?
