I just recently got a nextel cell phone, had verizon and cingular and
we use the outcalling feature at our office.  What seems to be
happening is when audix calls out to the nextel phone and I don't
answer it nextel records the voice prompt when it goes to voicemail.
Typically in the past with other carriers they drop the call when two
voicemail systems hear each other.  Anyone else run into this problem
and have a resolution?

I do have the same issue with Avaya voicemail.  I do not have a
solution, and the way I deal with it is to just delete the message
with "7" when I hear it.

I also have a problem with the voicemail system at my other job, which
is using the Cisco "Unity" voicemail which the best I've gotten it to
do is to call my Nextel and hang up after about 1/2 a ring.  Then I
know to call in and retrieve messages.

Neither is a killer, but neither works very well, either.
