OK, here goes, anyone have the CD for the data cable for an "i670"?

I conned nextell out of a free data cable but they didn't send any
software.

All the software I've located online is modem drivers for the USB,
that I don't need.

Is there something that will let me poke around like if it was a thumb
drive?

TIA.

Phone Tools, Carrier, Depot or Lab.....  any will work with your
phone.  Depends on how deep you want to get.

As for "file explorer" type applications, don't know that there is one
that will do that.....

I'll look into that tomorrow night, as for tonight it's shot because
one of the drivers I downloaded wasn't a driver. Some SOB disguised a
Trojan as a driver. It took a little while to get "Borlan E" off my
comp.

If you could "point" me in the direction of what you mentioned, it
would be greatly appreciated.

I wonder if the software would be the same from my daughter's motorola
phone. Granted she has a different model, but maybe the software is
the same. The final reason is to use the cable to get pictures off my
wife's phone via cable. Her's is the updated version of mine with the
camera.

Probably not.  Moto does not give this software away.  This is
something she would have had to purchase.

She did buy it. Along with it she got a memory sim a sim adapter and a
CD. We could not get it to work as advertised, instead we popped the
sim and adaptor in her adaptor for a camera sim reader and loaded mp3s
onto it that way. At the time I noticed several folders for images.
Empty at that time, but I was thinking they, Motorola, must have
designed it along the same lines. Software and hardware since they
recommended running the software and getting into the phone via it's
cable.

Try here, this is the software I use with my i860 with the USB data
cable to download pictures from the phone.

Glad the Media Download program works for you.

For the GPS.  The stationary satellites are located 25000 miles
above the equator and if you are in a position to have a clear view
in that direction you can get 4 or 5 signals to triangulate. My
last fix was with 4 satellites and it was accurate to 149 ft. As I
recall I can get 5 with an accuracy of about 30 ft.

Worked very well Bill,
BIG Thanks.
I'm somewhat satisfied that I can now "download" pictures for the
wife.
Other things, well you know the story, they have a customer by the
short hairs when it comes to putting things in and taking them out. It
almost seems like the old days of Mother Bell. They think they "OWN"
the phone.
