I use voice record on my present i95 so I can say someone's name and the
phone dials the number for me.
But does any phone have the capability today for me to just say a phone
number into it, and then it dials that number, without necessarily saving it
or putting a name to it?

hold the SPEAKER ON/OFF BUTTON and say nam

Thanks--sure would be nice to have true voice number dialing though. Wonder
if any phones for any carrier have it yet?

I've got a Sprint Razr that does it and just ordered one of the Samsung
Upstage phones that has it as well- full voice recognition.  Works like a
charm, too.  It rarely gets it wrong the first time (it does confirm the
request before dialing).

Thanks, but apparently no Direct Connect for either of them. True and usable
on-the-fly voice dialing would be a much more useful feature to us than some
of the other offerings...
