With the Nov 24 date coming up Nextel, like all the cell companies, are
really playing it cool with their pricing. I can't wait until the first
company drops their rates. I suspect that Sunday will be a very good day for
the consumer. Doses anyone have any info?

Check Nextel.com December 1st to see if there are any new plans available.
Nextel and all the other carriers have known for months (closer to a year)
about WLNP, and I am sure the marketing departments have been taking this
into account when coming up with new rate plans. Nextel probably won't have
a lot of drastic plan changes as they are still the only company with Direct
Connect (not to be confused with PTT or whatever the other companies are
calling their imitations of the service). They might have some to be more
competitive with the other carriers but we'll have to wait and see when the
new plans come out.
