Looking for the 1000 min per month.....or there abouts.

Once had nextel with 1000 min and they game me an extra 200 min free....had
phone on sleep
then reactivated it..with a lower plan.  Will they honor this plan above
again if I ask?  Any tricks
or advice on the BEST DEAL?

why would you put the phone on sleep? The service is good in all 50 states!

Unfortunately when you put it in sleep you have to pick up a plan that
currently exists.

My dad had that nextel grand slam plan about 3 years ago and it was like
$99.99 for unlimited everything and premium web was included. He called
customer care up one day and wanted to know if he could get a cheaper plan
with alot of minutes. Without his permission they took him off the plan he
was on and they couldn't put him back on. He was really pissed, especially
since he had like a $250 bill the next month for going over his minutes.
Back then i don't think you could get more then like 800-1000 minutes for
under $100. He canceled his service and explained everything to them and
they waived his $200 cancelation fee but he had to pay his last bill.

Best plan for you depends on if you make more calls or recieve more calls.
If you make more calls go with Nextel National 1000 for $55 if you recieve
more calls get Free Incoming 400 for $60

Really?

There looks like a number of states with no coverage.

Montana and Wyoming are the only 2 states. Let me guess, that's where you
went???

Great place to vacation, I'll tell you that. I wonder how many Flanagan's,
Bloomingdales, or Burberry's they have out there.....

I'm just messing around,  but when I vacation I usually check with Nextel to
make sure they have coverage there.
