A Recent Visit to nextel.com:

* i530 arrives with choice of Yellow or Black, i60c is getting close to
retirement
* i95cl no longer offered
* i830 and i860 along with a new Nextel Blackberry imminent

So if you guys want an i60c going to Nextel, act quickly because once
the last bastion of i60c units are gone, the i530 takes over its place.

Oh BTW, the i530 is also Military-Standard Compliant (alongside the
i305).  The i530 is basically the i305 for those who need a Clam Phone
instead of a Candybar-Type.

Are they shipping the i530 yet?

Are they available at Nextel Autorized dealers?

What is the cost if just a purchase without activation?

Thanks,
Dave-

Nextel.com is currently offering this on-line.  Nextel Retail Stores
will be the next one offering it.

> Are they available at Nextel Autorized dealers?

Dunno about this because ususally, Nextel-owned "bits" get "things"
first before authorized franchisees.

I have never switched phones within Nextel before, so I'm not gonna be
of much help here.
