Has anyone had any difficulty assigning specific ringtones to individual
contacts on a i730?  There doesn't seem to be any problem assigning a
ringtone to the Line 1 but to get each contact to have their own ringtone
doesn't seem to program.  I have contacted customer service a couple of
times but no help.

Thanks.

Are you sure you are using the 64k sim card and not the sim card from
i95/i90?

i730 and assigning specific ringtones.

I checked with customer service to ascertain if I had the correct sim card
installed - thanks for pointing that out.  It was the proper card.  The
problem arises in entering the actual phone numbers for the contact.  It is
necessary to enter the area code along with the number.  Unfortunately, the
manual does not state this but did find someone who was aware of this.
Specific ring tones can be assigned only if area code + number is entered.

yes that's correct because if you don't put in the area code for a
phone number the caller id will only show up numerically rather than
the actual person's number! hope that made sense!
