iden/gsm

I read somewhere that nextel is suppose to be coming out with a dual band phone that is iden/gsm.  Anyone know if this is still coming out and what gsm frequency is it going to be on? Are they going to offer as gsm for european use?

the iden/gsm band phone has been out for a long time...it's the i200
and i2000+ phones. it works on iden technology in the US and othe
places that use iden like canada, mexico, etc and uses the gsm i
Europe! the phone that you are probably thinking about it the i93
which will be coming out at the end of this year! it will replace th
i2000 series, will have microsoft smartphone software on it, and wil
have 2 color lcds. it will work the same way that the i2000 worke

This new phone might be half decent if it weren't Microsoft on it ;-)

lol! werd! on hofo in someone's sig it has the i930 with the "dreaded
