What do I need to do to sell my sim and phone?

Is it as simple as canceling service and selling it - or does Nextel need to
specifically know that I am selling it ?

Sorry if this sounds stupid, but I ran in to a problem with something similar
when selling a used satellite tv decoder w/smart card.

do a master clear. It'll erase all names and #'s
