iM1100 Modem errors

I have a Compaq Laptop with Windows 2000 sp2, and a Motorola iM1100 Nextel
card. I installed the software from the CD that came with the card, and
everything worked fine. Then I downloaded the latest software for the card
from the Motorola site, and now it will not connect. What is going on?

I am trying to pilot the wireless modem for my company, and so far, I am NOT
impressed. Is there any word on it getting any faster? or getting rid of the
picture compression?

Update, I uninstall the software from the site, and install it from the CD
again, and it works again. odd...
Does this Nextel Modem work with Win 2000 with SP3??
