Perhaps some other Nextel guru can shed some light.

It's been about 3 months since I played with myJAL and my i730, but I wanted
to upload some new wallpaper.

I cannot load any wallpaper to the phone via USB cable -- however I can
upload .wav ringtones.

I have checked the following

1) All .gif files are just that, not .GIF

2) All .gif files are 128 x 128 pixel or smaller

3) I deleted all old wallpaper on the phone to ensure enough memory

4) Ensured I had a proper connection with the phone, as I said previously I
can upload ringtones

When I upload the files, the status bar runs left to right as normal and
when completed I get the message that all files were successfully uploaded.

What gives? Can anyone throw me a life line?

Hi,

Motorola is playig games.  Only a certain number of pics will show up
when you list them via Settings / Display Info.  If you delete older
pics, the new ones suddenly show up.

Honest .... only found out after I gave up trying to load any more, and
was 'cleaning up' the phone.
