Is Nokia ever going to introduce a quad band GSM phone (850 / 900 / 1800 /
1900).

I'm on the verge of giving up and buying a new Motorola.

Nokia is indeed coming out with quad-band phones - that is quad-band including
what is called the 2100 WCDMA band.
