Hey, i know this is old tech and all that, but ive got an old 3210 which if
i remeber right i messed up big time by flashing it. cant remember exactly
what happened coz it was a long time ago, but basicly the phone wont swithc
on and will not acknoladge the charger being plugged in( battery is prob
dead to).

Ive tried software called "Nokia flash tool" but when it says switch phone
on, i cant! i tried but failed. eventuially the soft comes back with
"phone NOT respond"
and then " preloader init error- phone RAM is bad"

Any ideas as to how ican get this phone working again?
perhaps diff software?

Cheers

Take it to a repair shop, spend 10x the cost of a new phone to get it
working again if you're that desperate.
Probably the flash chip has f.cked itself after your attempt at flashing.

If you manage to source a charged battery, or a desktop charger that will
charge the battery, or lo and behold read a bit of Google to find out how to
charge it without the phone, you can reflash it with the original ROM that I
sure hope you read from the phone and saved first.

If of course you didn't read the original ROM first in case of fuckup, it'll
make a handy housebrick, paperweight, or self-defence Taiwanese throwing
lump.

Thanks for the info, yes i do have a backup of the original rom, and can get
the battery charged.
Any recommendations for software to use?
