Yes it does work, although it will cost extra.  The other option is to
log onto 3 web mail and get 3 to collect your mail for you and then you
won't need to set up an additional account on your handset.

You cannot do it in the UK, as this is the only market where 3 do no
have internet access available. Apparently they have surveyed their
customers and found that they don't need or want internet access, so
they're sticking with their "exclusive" content.

I've just ported out to Vodafone after getting fed up with waiting for
the rumoured gateway to appear.
