LOL

not usually no... but this has got to me.

my PC will pair with the phone (6630)

I can go in nokia pc suite and do a search and find my phone (i even get my
neighbours phone in a search).... I click ok to connect (to my phone)......

then can't use pc suite to actually do anything, it doesn't show a connected
phone.

A, There is no indicator to say if your PC is actually "talking" to your
phone.
B, Nokia PC suite is just.....bilge.
C, My ir connection works perfectly so...arse to it.

You MUST use Nokia Connection Manager (in Control Panel, or from the Start
Menu) to pair your phone with your PC, not your hardware driver/Windows.

Make sure you have the latest version of PC Suite from nokia.com - you
shouldn't have any problems.

I have to agree, the PC suite software is a load of crap.  It's horrible.
If and when it works it's WAY too slow.  I'm sure it looked good during the
planning stages but the code they're shipping is absolute GARBAGE.  Recent
versions are starting to "suck less" but they're by NO MEANS anything
approaching good.
