Hello!
This phone doesn't work with Nokia PC Suite. You need alternative software
for this phone such as Oxygen Phone Manager II (
ttp://www.opm-2.com/opm2/ ) or Oxygen Express (
http://www.oxygen-express.com/ ) , depending on functions you wish to get
from your phone.
Before running the software you should check the following parameters for
your datacable:
1) The cable must be F-Bus ( full duplex, 115200 bit/s speed). Our software
doesn't support slow M-Bus (half duplex, 9600 bit/s speed) datacables.
2) If there is any switch or lever on cable's contact platform, please, pull
it to 'F (F-Bus)' position.
3) This cable's contact platform has special contact pins on the phone's
side. If there is soft isolating foam around these pin contacts, please,
remove it
4) Pin contacts must be of the same length and must spring simultaneously in
regular intervals, when your press them. If any contact pin stucks in
contact platform, then there will be no connection.
5) Cable's contact platform has special slots or holders for the battery.
Make sure, that the battery sits tight in this slot/ these holders.
6) Connect the contact platform with the battery attached to phone contacts
in battery slot. Make sure, that the battery is connected to the phone as
well, as the contact platform is.
7) Turn your phone on. If the phone is turned off, then there is no contact.
8) In our software check physical COM port your are using for this
connection and set its type as 'DAU-9p/F-Bus' . Press 'Ok' to confirm
settings.
9) Now you can work with your phone.
Physical COM port may require additional adjustment:
A) Open 'Start' -> 'Settings' -> 'Control panel' -> 'System' ->
'Hardware' -> 'Device Manager ( for Windows 2000 / XP / 2003 Server ) or
'Start' -> 'Settings' -> 'Control panel' -> 'System' -> 'Devices' ( for
Windows 98 SE/ Millenium ). Right-click once on your COM port ->
'Properties'
B) Choose 'COM port parameters' and set your COM port speed to 115200 bit/s
C) If you are using MS Windows NT 4.0 (not supported officially) / 2000/ XP
/ 2003 Server , then one may need to change your physical COM port's IRQ
(Interrupt Request ) value. Open your COM port properties, as described in
point 'A'. Choose 'Resources' tab. Uncheck 'Automatic setting' option there
and press 'Apply'. If Windows prompts for system reboot, please, accept this
request, reboot your system and enter 'Resources' tab once again. Left click
once on 'Interrupt Request' (IRQ) sign and press 'Change setting' button .
Your Interrupt Request value for physical COM port must be not IRQ 3 or IRQ
4 ( usually IRQ 5 or IRQ 7 works ). You may also need to change
configuration setting in 'Configuration based on' graph. Some configuration
sets doesn't allow to adjust 'Interrupt Request' option. Press 'Apply' to
confirm settings and reboot your PC.
Can you connect your phone now?

Hello!
You should use F-Bus cable. If there are only two contact pins, then this
cable is M-Bus. Please, check, whether the cable has 4 contact pins on its
contact platform.
