I have just received a
Nokia 5140i
Nokia CA-42 Data CAble

Connected and installed PC Suite (v6.5) as per manual.

(Note PC suite 6.6 won't let me browse at all - 6.5 will)

All connects fine BUT

I cannot upload anything at all. Example. Pictures, Logos, tones will not
upload.

Says phone not connected (when it is )

It will sync. & download to PC but upload fotget it.

I have tried the smallest and simplest of files.

using the midi uploader .

common error message

"cannot connect to phone"

"cannot perform operation"

I am using windows XP SP2
Firewalls off
AV even off

to ensure that neither are casuing problem.

I have contacted Nok,ia support. Nil luck. They say to try on another XP
machine.

Yeah Ok, where do I go next door?

CAn anyone help? ta

There are alternatives to PC Suite available (try MobiMB on my site below).
