I tough it out and start again. My carrier, Dobson, doesn't have a fully
video enabled phone on their approved list so I just have to deal with it
for the time being.

ok, just didn't know if i missed something. i was taking a bus
to and from work an hour in each direction and downloading
episodes of stargate sg-1. after having to restart from the beginning
after watching 30 minutes ... i could only deal with it for so long :).
i dont know who dobson is, but you could just buy an unlocked
6620 online and swap your SIM from your 6230 in and you'll
be off and running.

Thanks. However I'm going to hold off on changing anything unless I can find
a way of compressing these episodes.
If I can't get them to 3gp, it won't matter what phone I have.

Fair enough, I really only have the limited 3gp experience from when
I briefly owned the phone. I just use xvid files now. Some info
that might be worth following up on here... sorry I can't be of more
