Have just spoken with Vodafone, who informed me that they were not
getting the 6280 model in as a part of their Upgrade scheme. The Nokia
N70 is the 'spearhead' of the Vodafone Upgrade programme. (Actually
heard from Vodafone that they were also going to discontinue their
Loyalty Rewards programme as of early March 2006).

I then rang a phones store (Allphone - Miranda, NSW), whom informed me
that the 6280 is exclusively for the 3 Network. I was told that even if
I bought it outright, and tried my Vodafone sim card in it, it would
fail to work unless unlocked by 3.

So, unless I wish to change networks providers, I am not able to have
this phone. That's a pity - because it looks like a great phone!
