Hi,

I had an old 7160 for years.
It finally wore out so I've upgraded to a newer model that uses a SIM card.

Now I want to print my contacts that I have stored in my 7160 so I can
browse the list at will when manually entering them into the new phone.

I have the DLR-3P cable for the 7160 and have used the Fonesync software to
download all the contact info.
However, fonesync will not let me print or even do a copy and paste so I can
print the contacts.
I tried the Oxygen software and it would not even see the phone. I think it
used too years ago.

So, I'm looking for something that is free that will just simply read my
contacts from my old 7160 and allow me to save it as a text file or at least
copy and paste into word or something.

The Fonesync software does save the info in some type of database file with
a .fs4 extension.
I can see the data within the file but I'm not sure what format it is in.
If anyone knows then please let me know and maybe I can open the database
from fonesync 4 in a different app that will allow me to print.

thanks for any help!

Nevermind,
It was the fact that I had fonesync still installed and it was hogging my
ports from Oxygen.

Oxygen would still not read the full list correctly.
It had problems with about three contact entries.
Newest version of Oxygen would not work at all.

Anyway,
All good now.

Hello!

Would you be more specific about contacts problem? What contact fields
cannot be retrieved correctly from the phone?

Does the same problem remain in 2.8.7 version ( you can download the latest
free trial version here: http://www.oxygensoftware.com/en/download/ ).

If you have any further questions, do not hesitate to contact us (

Sorry for the slow reply.

After reviewing the problem again, I don't think it is a problem with Oxygen
Software.
Fonesync also will not read the entries.

Maybe the memory in the phone is corrupt or a bug in the firmware on the
phone?
