I am thinking of getting a Nokia N70 on Vodafone UK.

However, I have heard that you can only play MP3's on the N70 that have been
downloaded from voda live.

Is this true?
If I had the N70 from Vodafone is there anyway around this that I could do
myself without needing to take it anywhere?

Is this the case for all phones supplied through Vodafone?

I appreciate any help or information given.

Thanks!

My N70 (on & badged by Vodafone) plays MP3'S from other sources no problem.

I just download them from PC onto my MMC & then put MMC back in phone.

Thanks for your reply.

Will the MP3's you got from other sources work as a ringtone?

Can you set your own message alert tones or is this not possible?

Thanks!

Indeed, you can set different MP3's as ringtones, message tones & email
tones.
