Hi - can you help?

I connect my phone to my pc and try to send a text message.
I click the icon 'send text messages' and the correct window opens.
I then click 'To' to chose recipients.

In the contacts list, I see names and number to chose from.
The trouble is, these numbers are old and not the ones I see
when I browse the contacts list on the phone.

To try and sort the problem I click 'refresh' and the it
syncs the phone and a new windows nokia.wab address book
I set up a little earlier.

When I look in the nokia.wab - the correct numbers are listed.
So if they are right in the address book and they are right when
I view the contact list on the phone, where are these old numbers
being stored and why don't they update?

Thanks if you can help,
and thanks for reading if you can't!

> Hi - can you help?

What a pile of crap this pc suite is.
I've just uninstalled the whole lot and reinstalled the latest
version.  Not before I went into Docs&Settings and deleted all
related folders like Phone Browser, Nokia, Pc Suite and Data
Layer and some daft files that the registry pointed to, sedb.mdb
etc.

The thing still won't update contacts.  Now it just sits there
with it's lovely little graphics flashing, saying 'Phone and
computer contacts are now being updated' - and it would
sit there all night if I let it too.  Nothing happens!

Anybody have this experience?
