Take a look at FEexplorer on http://www.gosymbian.com/fexplorer_new.php.
It's a really useful app which can reset the operator logo on Series 60
phones - amongst many other things.  This site http://www.symbian-freak.com/
has a blank logo you can use or design your own.

I have tried using FExplorer to replace the logo on my (3 Australia)
Nokia 6680 and it does not work either.  I suspect 3 have prevented us
from doing it with their customised (bastardised) firmware.
