Widcomm & PC Suite

Ali Day - 24 Jul 2006 13:38 GMT Hi, The usual problem of Widcomm not being recognised by PC suite, tried everything I can think of and now annoyed.
I did a re-install of XP on friday, but now can't get my HP USB bluetooth key (bt450) to be recognised by PC Suite (vers 6.80.22), hardware manager is showing that the USB key is registered to the correct driver. I deleted all the windows drivers on about the 6th or maybe 7th re-install of everything. (Widcomm 4.0.1.2101 is what is showing in device manager). I can pair to the device via windows etc, but PC suite will not find Bluetooth Widcomm as before. Tried various install combinations but no joy.
Any ideas please?
Cheers A

Sorted the problem, found on the Nokia site a change from add/remove programs to the Noki PC Connectivity solution, and then a repair it worked. God knows why it didn't work after a re-install, but hey ho it's fixed now.
Cheers

WE ARE THE CHAMPIONS AND NOBODY CAN SAY NOTHING.... Yes, true, and that is about all Italy has to put itself on the world map. And it makes it highly likely, that the championship was bought... World champion as soccer players, but hardly as world citizens... Hope you can be proud of it, but how can you be proud of these criminals ?
And: their winning does not make YOU a champion, dear Mau.

Maurosanero - 25 Jul 2006 14:14 GMT only Florentine, juventus, milan and lazio have put make up on the serie A
the cup of the world we have won her worthly and I repeat, nobody can say nothing.
cannavaro had to receive the prize of good player of the world one, instead of zidane, the terrorist.
me typhus palermo, team that this year will play in champions league, that is not implicated in this story.
bye... and W ITALY( * * * * ,,,four stars) & W PALERMO
Osiris - 25 Jul 2006 15:05 GMT >only Florentine, juventus, milan and lazio have put make up on the serie A o, thought there were only 2 implicated.. now it's 4...
>the cup of the world we have won her worthly and I repeat, nobody can say >nothing. Well, maybe if the fraud would have be known earlier, all the bigger italian clubs would have been bakrupt or otherwise imcapacitated. Then the more able italian players would have emigrated and have played for, say, a german club. Keep following this line of reasoning...
And who is WEO ? how come Italy suddenly has become ONE nation, how come, Italians suddenly are a WE ? Never in the history of the peninsula has there been unity.
>cannavaro had to receive the prize of good player of the world one, instead >of zidane, the terrorist. Canna Who ? Maybe because the risk of him being fraudulent afterwards was too high.

Eric - 25 Jul 2006 17:32 GMT PC Suite is simply flakey and buggy. I tried getting it so that it "always works", but have given up.
I sometimes get the same conflicts between PC Suite and the Widcomm drivers as well. It works 95 percent of time, which is "good enough" though.
(..and to the Oxygen spammer, this isn't an open invitation for solicitation. If I wanted to use Oxygen, or any other third-party program, I would've already P2P'd/BitTorrent'd it by now.)

[quoted text clipped - 11 lines] > Bluetooth 1.2 (USB, Zonet ZUB6101C) > Windows 2003 Server I used Oxygen a couple of years ago and found it worse than PC Suite deleted pretty quickly. PC Suite is a pain to get going but once running it seems to be reliable for me, once in.
