I create a lot of fractal (mandelbrot) pix on my PC & I've transferred
a couople to my 6680.
Trouble is the picture display nice & sharp on the Gallery but are
always blurry when I set them as wallpaper.
I set the resolution originally to 176x144 then noticed the supplied
wallpapers were 174x143.
But still at 174x143 the images are blurred like the are always
'resampled' even though the resolution should be okay.

Thanks Teo.
I guess the simple answer would be to use a JPEG at twice the
resolution so the unavoidable resize filtering isnt so noticeable.
Or download BMCONV to convert .BMP to .MBM format which entails ...
BMCONV /n /c24myfile.BMP  (Argh!), rename then copy to wallpaper
directory (Argh!).
