Have you tried the Nokia Phone Tools program that comes with the phone?

There's also the PC Suite software downloadable from Nokia's website.

There are at least two other maker's of editing / backup software, but
neither list the 6233 in their list of compatible phones.

Thanks, but I already have PC Suite installed and although it has a
"Contacts" folder, I can't get it to display the phone book. I have
over 90 entries in my 6233 phone book but the contacts folder always
shows as empty with PC Suite. Perhaps I'm doing something wrong.
Thanks

I got the phone from a friend but he only had the charger with it.
I tried Nokia PC suite, but I can't get that to read the phone book
even though it shows message, images etc.
I downloaded something called "Mobile Phone Tools" from emule file
share, but that doesn't seem to have a phone book editor or reader.
Thanks
