Why didn't time updated because of daylight save?

Helli,
I have Nokia 1101 also another phone like Philips S800, but as you
know, last night times are forwarded last night from 3 to 4 due to
daylight save rule of the world.

I am from Turkey and automatic time update is enabled on my phone(s).

But it doesn't updated? WHY? What are the reasons? Note: City and
dates are set correect.

This is not a Nokia problem, you need to ask your service provider
about why it did not update. It is up to the network to provide the
necessary time/date sync (most don't).

A phone has no idea where in the world it is, or if the time zone has
been changed recently (like America).
Just think of the problems/complaints with millions of phones in
America if the phone had to do the change it's self, and which may not
have been aware of the recent goverment DST change since many phone
will be old phones!!

Thank you for your reply, but my Service provider Turkcell (leader of
GSM in TURKEY) said it's telephone's fault. I have no idea...

Have you tried restarting your phone, depending on how the time sync
is set up by the network it may only sync the time when you log into
the network and at no other time.
