I've used Nokia Updater to update the firmware on my 6131.  All seemed fine
until I tried to send a JPG file by MMS when the screen took a fast fade to
black and the phone rebooted.

Can send video but any attempt with picures (both imported and taken using
onboard camera) results in the crash / reboot.

Anyone any thought on cause / cure??

Went from v3.70 to v6.10

When restoring from backup after flashing, you're essentially restoring to a
different piece of hardware - and restoring 'setttings' is a surefire way to
messup your setup.
After all, you wouldn't restore a Dell image to an Compaq PC, now would you
?
