I have an old 3330 which has served me well through many knocks. I really
don't want to replace it but would like a keypad autolock.I am told newer
models have this feature. If I bough a lead could I download more up to date
software and get this feature? If so what lead do I buy and where do I
source the software.
Thanks in advance.

Tony,
I'm not sure if newer models of the 3330 have this feature, but I'm pretty
sure that the 3315 software does, of course this is a bit of a downgrade as
I think you lost wap and a few other things.

Link doesn't work here.
Also the 3310/15 is physically different inside from the 3330, although
they look the same externally.

Hi Ivor,

I believe that, from the software's point of view, the two phones are
identical - the only real difference being that the 3330 has twice the
amount of flash memory as the 3310/15 (to accommodate the extra code for
WAP, GPRS, etc).
In any case, I have read of people successfully flashing the 3330 with the
3315 firmware. But I'd STRONGLY suggest reading the relevant forums before
trying this.
