Reformatting an n-gage?

I would like to reformat my n-gage's internal disk.

Unfortunately, I find that the codes:
NORMAL RESET:
*#7780#
DEEP RESET:
*#7370#

...do not, in fact, appear to wipe my disk. It says it will. It
reboots. It does everything right, after accepting my password. It
just doesn't actually empty my disk.

Any suggestions?

i have tried this also, nothing even happens with mine, just sits
there, maybe faulty eh
