Is there a difference? They look the same size - would SD work on the
N-Gage?

Yes,

Size - slight difference (SD are very slightly thicker) & pins are main
thing, that's where the difference is, SD has extra pins and hence is
faster when the two can be compared.

Nope, won't fit, Nokia are MMC onlly, and the newer scaled down of MMC in
the new phones.

Some do, some don't, pin out is different & some cameras only accept SD and
some both, just try it & try formatting from phone.
