Does anyone know how to remove apps from the Nokia 7610.

I can't remove them using The Application installer as under "My Phone"
there is the messsage:
"the contents of the currently selected phone model cannot be shown"

If i try to directly delete them from the phone i get the message:
"unable to delete xxxx"

Any help would be much appreciated.
