I posted about a month ago when I had problems installing the right version
of windows to run the PC Suite. But now I have the right version of windows,
the right version of PC Suite and have downloaded the drivers for the cable
link. However, still problems.
Neither my PC nor my laptop will accept the new hardware i.e. the 7600. It
searches for the drivers but can't find them and so can't install the phone.
So I've got the software to run, but can't tell the laptop that I've got a
phone and so I can't transfer photos or videos!!! Ahhhh.
Is there a separate driver for the phone (as opposed to the cable)? Or is
the phone driver part of the PC suite, or does it have to downloaded
separately?
Please help

When you have installed the cable software you should be able to tell
the connection part of the program in the system tray that you want it
to look at the cable, choices are Bluetooth, IrDA, USB cable etc. so
make sure that is enabled.
Then connect the phone, it should autodetect when you fire up the
appropriate program such as content copier.
