6230 MMC problems

I've recently bought a Nokia 6230 and a 1GB MMC card.

When I try to transfer any files from my PC (running Windows 98SE) to the
MMC card, I regularly get a "The Operation Could Not Be Completed" message.
This happens using Infra Red & a DKU-2 cable.

Also, if I set the camera's default folder to the MMC card, sometimes it
won't save the picture.

I've tried renaming the MMC card and turning the phone off and back on again
but eventually, the same problems keep arising.

Has anyone else had similar problems?

Having just re-read what I wrote, it looks highly likely that it is the MMC
card. Or am I missing something?

Its very likely a bug in the firmware.  You should upgrade to firmware
version 5.24.

I use a card reader, it's much (much much) faster.
