Morning everyone,
I recently picked up the new Sanyo 8100, pretty happy with it so far. What I
'm wondering is if there a way that I can synchronize my MS outlook address
book with the phone. Any software or USB plug that I haven't come across
yet.
Thanks in advance and enjoy the holidays.

You want "SnapSync".

SnapSync from Futuredial works fairly well. It's a little primitive,
but works better than the only other thing I've found (DataPilot).
Radio Shack often has good deals for the software and the cable. One
thing to remember with the 8100... make sure the phone is OFF when you
connect the USB cable to the computer. Then turn the phone on. For
some reason the program and computer don't recognize the device
otherwise. By the way, this is the same cable you can use to connect
to the internet via your phone.

I think FutureDial SnapSync will only sync the contacts within Outlook. I
don't think the 8100 can sync with Outlook calendar or tasks due to memory
constraints of the 8100.
