Q  I am thinking of switching to the local extended area calling plan and I
understand
that I will have to pay for calls made from outside the area.  If I use my
Vision outside the area will I be charged too?  How would that work with
the unlimited Vision Plan?

A You will not be able to use PCS Vision services at places where you do
not have Sprint coverage.  At all places with Sprint coverage, you will
be charged the normal rates.

Does this mean I won't be able to use Vision if I am out of my calling area
or does it mean I won't be able to use Vision if Vision is not available?  I
called Sprint twice - the first rep told me if I used Vision I would be
charged by the minute!  She called back and left a message that she was
wrong and I would not be charged for roaming or minutes.  The second rep
said I could use Vision outside of the local area with no charge.  The
emailed response above is confusing to me as I don't know if they mean the
one cent kb rate - or with unlimited - no addition charge.  Thanks!  DonnaB

I'll see if I can find out, Donna.  Either you got me on
the phone, or you're not the only one asking.  I simply
admitted I didn't know and am awaiting response from above
via my Team Lead.  But I *think* Vision is covered, even
outside your local area.  That's *my* interpretation of the
wording, though.  Unofficial.

I *don't* speak for them.
