What do you guys think about the Sony Erickson, T608. I need a small phone
that has great sound characteristics, good signal strength in relatively
weak areas, and also has Bluetooth. Cost is not an important factor as I
will be using it for my business. I do not need a camera, nor do I need a
web browser. I know that these features come with most phones but they will
not be a consideration for me.
What are the thoughts on the Sony Erickson T608?
Thank you

Bruce, this phone was sold on a very limited basis (10,000 units I believe)
and what limited reviews we had here in this newsgroup, were all not that
good IIRC.
Do a search on posts from December on and you will find a few reviews.

The T608 has bluetooth and the best reception. If you like these two
things the most like I do, it is the one and the only one for you.

You might want to look at the website http://www.sprintpcsinfo.com
and look at the user forums there. They have one dedicated to the
T608. I think you'll find everything you need about it there.
However, for SPCS, the T608 is the only BT option you've got for now.
The Treo600 has an SD slot that's I/O enabled, so a BT card *could*
go there, once you find one compatible with the Palm OS. And an I/O-
enabling update has been released for the Hitachi G1000, so BT is,
theoretically, possible there, too. But, obviously, a full-blown PDA
like both of those goes well beyond the "just a phone" kind of
criteria you listed above.

Why are you misleading people? You know full well there is no such thing
to be found. A perfect example of your LIES.
The only SD Blue Tooth adapters dont work with Palm OS 5, which is what
the Treo 600 has.

Y'know, Phillie, your little hobby about inventing arguments that
don't exist is both tiresome, and part of the reason the only
"people" with whom you can speak are your other ID's.
I didn't say anything about such a card existing, and you know it.
Rumors are rampant that drivers are imminent to fix this.
Go peddle your dishonesty elsewhere. You're not worth the oxygen.
