I don't have problem with the new password requirements, per se.
But I am wondering, before I change it, what are the ramifications?
I have 5 phones on my account!

1) Am I making the change just for the number I keyed in?

2) If I call in, will this new password become the 'account password'?

3) Does this password become the mail and vision password? for me, or for
all?

While I have no problem with the concept of the password or tightened
security, what we have here is ... to quote a famous movie line .....
"What we have here ...is a failure to communicate"!

*2 tells me that starting next week, they will require your new password for
them to help you.
No more the last 4 digits of your Social.

Which is ok, IF you know what the password is.

I had so much fun when they asked me my password before the rep would
talk to me.  What password?, I asked.

"Your password" he replied.

"I didn't know I had a password."

"You do have a password, and I need it before I can help you".

"Where would this password have been set?"

"I can't tell you that".

It was a fun 20 questions game, until I finally started running down
every password I've ever used anywhere, until he finally said "That's
it".

"Which one?"

"I can't tell you that".
