Sanyo SCP-4900 - Changing username?

I just got a used Sanyo SCP-4900 from someone on Ebay.

I signed up for PCS Vision, but when I try to log on, the phone
automatically tries to use the former owner's username.  I can't find a
setting anywhere in the phone to make it use my username.

Any tips?

Thanks,
chris.

I believe that you will need the MSL to do that. Best thing to do is go down
to your local SPCS store and let them do the programming.

Go to a Sprint PCS store,  as Bob suggested, or call Sprint PCS
Customer Service (dial "*2" from your Sprint PCS handset).  They
should be able to help you log on with your username.

When did you sign up? It can take six hours or more for Vision to fully
provision.

Anyway, you can do this... IIRC your 4900 has these options. From the
preferences menu, select Vision and Disable Vision; next, select "Update
Vision Profile" and finally, make sure that Vision is Enabled.
If all of this fails to get your phone to pick up your Vision username,
DO NOT call *2 from your phone. Go to a landline phone, or, at least
some other cell phone and call 1-888-211-4PCS and follow the prompts. I
would suggest telling Claire: "Technical Issues" at the first menu then
"Vision Issues" when prompted at the submenu.

Good luck
