I just bought a used Sanyo SCH-4900 from ebay, but it's still filled
with the former user's phone books, settings, etc.
Anybody know how to clear the memory and re-set the phone to its default
settings? I can't seem to find anything about that in the manual, and I
don't want to delete 157 phone entries individually...
I would also like to reset the security codes, etc. but the former user
won't give me his security codes.
Any tips?
Thanks,
chris.

Go into the Security screen and try using the last four numbers of the
telephone number. If that doesn't work, try 1234, and lastly try plugging in
the last four numbers of your SSN.
If none of that works, take the phone to your local SPCS store, ask the
technician to reset the phone, and to double check whether you have the most
recent firmware & PRL versions loaded on the phone.
