I've loved my P300 for the last two years, perhaps a little too much
as it's now on it's last leg. The antenna is busted and you can't get
them anymore, and the battery doesn't last the day unless I'm on the
phone less than 10 minutes.

One of my favorite features has been its' ability to do true POP mail
--- downloading the mail right to the phone rather than looking at it
on a web page.

So now that I'm looking for a new phone, which ones will do real POP
mail, like the P300?

I know the PDA units will, but they're generally too big and expensive
for me. So what alternatives are out there now or in the near future?

So far as I am aware, nothing.  At least, there was nothing less than a
PDA when I finished.
