The SPCS Vision Noveltel(tm) laptop data card has a HSN
number similar to a "regular" PCS phone.
Question:
Can this PCMCIA wireless data Vision card be added to an
existing SPCS plan as an extra line Add-A-Phone?
Or, does it have to be considered as a single separate SPCS
account?
Thank you in advance.   ---Juan

It can not be added as an Add-A-Phone.  It can be added under the
heading of "Laptop & PDA Plans" as "Sprint PCS Vision for Sprint PCS
Connection Cards".  $40 for 20MB, $60 for 40MB, $80 for 300MB per month.
I suspect that the rates will change within the next year as the next
level of data speeds is reached.  Although a newer card is likely
required.

I think alot depends on the Rep.  My card was grandfathered in when
you could piggy back the cards as an adda phone.  Mine cost me a $20 a
month as an addaphone. It seems to work well.

But I would like to hear more about the increase data rate.

David--
While using your Novatel card as an (grandfathered)
Add-A-Phone, other than the minutes usage, have you noticed
any additional data usage charges?     ---Juan

I don't receive any additional charges.  However, I also don't abuse
the card either.  I don't have it on 24/7 but use it religiously on
the weekends when I am away from home or out of town on business.
